Deliverability & Infrastructure

Reputation is infrastructure. We treat it like one.

1

Diversification, not dependency

One ESP or one MTA is a single point of failure — its throttling decision becomes your outage. Mailkeeper spreads sending across multiple providers and self-managed MTAs, routed by live reputation signal, so one provider's bad day never becomes your whole list's bounce day.

2

Yours to keep, or ours to run — usually both

Infrastructure can run on Mailkeeper-managed routes, on infrastructure you own outright — your own AWS/SES IPs and domains, for example — or, the setup we build most often, a diversified mix of both. So sending capacity and reputation aren't locked inside a system only we control: what's yours stays yours if the relationship ever ends.

3

Warming as a schedule, not a hope

Every new domain and IP follows a defined ramp curve — volume increased in measured steps against engagement response, not a flat "send more each week" guess.

4

Already sending elsewhere? We migrate gradually

If your product already runs email marketing on another setup, we don't rip it out on day one. Migration starts cautiously, alongside your existing infrastructure, guided by our recommendations and validated through A/B testing against what you already have. Only once Mailkeeper's system shows better inbox placement and engagement do we scale sending onto it — so the channel is never more exposed mid-transition than it was before we started.

5

Validation before send, not after bounce

Syntax, MX, and mailbox-level checks plus risk scoring run before a list touches a live domain — cutting hard bounces and spam-trap hits at the source instead of cleaning up the reputation damage afterward.

6

Compliance, built in

Every send carries required sender identification and one-click unsubscribe, aligned with CAN-SPAM and GDPR sending requirements. Authentication is maintained per domain — SPF, DKIM, DMARC and BIMI kept current as mailbox-provider requirements change.

7

A playbook for when it goes wrong anyway

Blacklisting and reputation drops get a defined response — isolate the affected route, shift volume to healthy domains, diagnose the cause, remediate — instead of a scramble.
